A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CORRECTION
OP ASSESSMENT FOR WORK UNDER HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT NO. 218.
WHEREAS, the Director of Publio Service reports that
upon investigation it appears that the assessment against Lot
3, Block 94, Lawrence Estate for work under Highway Improve-
ment No. 218, was erroneous in that the property was assessed
for the cost of new curb when, in fact, the old curb was used;
and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends the passage of a
resolution correcting the assessment so that the cost of new
curb will not be assessed against the property:
NO%V,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the
City of Miami: That the Director of rinance be, and he is
hereby, authorized and directed to correct the assessment against
Lot 3, Block 94, Lawrence Estate, for the cost of work under
Highway Improvement No. 218, so that the assessment against
said property will read es follows, to -wit:
Paving, 50'42.497 124.85
Gutter only 50' 0 $0.49555 24.78
TOTAL 149.63
thereby reducing the total assessment against the said property,
for the cost of work under Highway Improvement No. 218, $21.97.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27t h day of Juary, A. D. 1925.
