A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY MANAGER. TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT
WITH THE NYE ODORLESS CREMATORY COMPANY
FOR CONSTRUCTION AND ERECTION OF AN
ADDITIONAL DOUBLE -UNIT INCINERATOR.
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service and the City
Manager have reoommended the oanetraotion of an additional
double unit incinerator, and
WKER AS, after due consideration it is the sense of the
Commission that additional incinerator capacity is needed.,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the
City of Miami:
1: That the offer of the Nye Odorless Crematory Company
to construct and erect a double -unit incinerator at and for
the price of 060,000.00 be, and the same is hereby, accepted.
2: That the City Manager be, and he is, hereby authoris-
ed and directed to enter into contract with the Nye Odorless
Crematory Company for the erection and construction of said
incinerator.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of January, A. D.1926.
