AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIAING AND DEPtfItta TI1 t'IRE
LIMITS OP THE CITY OP MIAMI.

CITY Or MIAMI:
See. 1. That there shall be, and there is hereby es-
tablished a district, section or portion of the City of Miami,
Florida, to be known as the "fire Districts of said City, which
said district shall embrace all that portion of said City de-
scribed as follows:
Starting at the mouth of the Miami River, and extend-
ing North along Harbor line of Biscayne Bay, to center line of
Northeast 13th Street; thence West on Northeast 13th Street to
center line of Northeast Second Avenue; thence North on NorI-
east Second Avenue to center line of Northeast 20th Street;
thence Vest on Northeast 20th Street to center line of Block
Twenty of Johnson & Waddell Addition; thence South on center
line of Blocks 20, 21, 30, 31, 40,and 41 of Johnson and Waddell
Addition to center line of northwest 14th Street; thence West
on center line of Northwest 14th Street to center line of Block
Two, Japes or Sosts Addition; thence South on center line of
Blooks 2, 8, and 11 of Japes or Sosts Addition, 7I►, 14N, 27N, 34N,
47N and 54N to center line of Block 67 North; thence West on cen-
ter line of Blooks 67N, 68N, 69N, 70N and 14 Spring Gar1en Sub-
division to East Channel line of Seyboli Ca:.al. South on East
Channel line of Seybold.Canal to North Channel line of the Miami
River; thence Southeastwardly along channel line of the Maud. Riv-
er to the center line of Northwest
'nth Avenue; thenee South on center line of Northwest 7th Avenue
to center line of Block 8S; thenoe West on center line of nooks
8S, 3 Riverside, 1 Riverview, 13 and 14 Lawrence Estate to een-
ter line of Northwest 12th Avenue; thenoe South on center line of
lath Avenue to center line of Block 18 Lawrence Estate; thenee
East on °enter line of nooks 18 and 17 of Laurence Estate, 1. of
Riverview, I of Riverside, 15S, 16S, 178 and 18S to the north
side of channel line of the Miami River. Thence along the East
Channel line of the Miami River to the center line of Southwest
Second Avenue; thence South on Southwest Second Avenue to the cen-
ter line of Southwest 8th Street; thence East on Southwest 8th
Street to Harbor line of Biscayne Bay; thence North on harbor line
of Biscayne Bay to the Mouth of the Miami River.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. The reading, of this ordinance on two sepa-
rate days is hereby dispensed with by a four -fifths vote of the
City Commission.
Section 4. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an
emergency measure on the ground of urgent public heed for the pre-
servation of peace, health, safety and property.
