WHEREAS, the City of Miami, a uunicipal corporation of the State of Florida, has a population of over ten thousand (10,000) in- habitants within its corporate limits, and desire to extend its cor- porate limits so aE to include adjacent territory, whether incoxpor- ated or not, not now included within such corporate limits of said. City, and it is desired to call an election for the aprroval or dis- approval of this ordinance as provided for by Section 1921, 1922 and 1923 of the Revised.
