Said oommuni- aation is in full as follows: November 9th and November there being no oorrections and seconded, the said Miami, Florida November 23, 1925. Mr. F. H. Wharton City Manager Miami, Fla. Dear Mr. Wharton: It has occurred to me that the qu stion of building the proposed Dooke for the City of Miami is so important to the people as a whole from the standpotht of location of the Docks, owing to the fact that two of the plans proposed will oall for an Island in the oenter of the Bay opposite our Hotel and Park district, and will cost considerably more money than the other two plans which have been of- fered at the bend of Causeway, that it would be the best solution of the -situation to call for an election by the taxpayers of the City of Miami on the four proposed plans. Having a drawing made of each plan and submited to the voters for their information. I would appreciate your taking this matter up with the Miami City Commissioners and asking them to submit this proposition to the people. Very truly your, (Signed) E. G. SEWELL, President Miami Chamber of Commeroe. Upon motion by Mr. Lummus, and seconded by Mr. 'Wilson, the communication was ordered filed and no action taken on same. HOUSE BOATS- ON RIVER FRONT.
