Said lots is as- sessed at $2650. wbioh I think is exoesaive, and request you to make proper reduotion. The front and the middle of this lot have no building whatsoever. Aoross the rear is an inoh board shed roof building, having three rooms and garage. On top of that shed I am now building two rooms. Lot 20, next east, is very fully improved; good 5-room house in front and 6-room house on rear; and is assessed at $2350, $250. lees than mine. Lot 22, next east, has good Bungalow in front and garage in rear; assessed $2650, same as mine. These three lots, if not im- proved, would be worth one as much as another, but the improvements on either Lot 20 or Lot 22 are worth about four times as much as the improvement on my Lot, 21. Moreover, my one-story shed was not finished January 1, 1924, when aeseseed same as said other two lots. I palled the City Assessor's attention to my exoesaive tax in 1924. He admitted the injustice; said my tax was more than $9.00 taohigh; and that be would make a memorandum on the record and rebate $9.00 to me this year.
