RESOLUTION NO. 1758
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT _MAIL_
BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the City of Miami:
That the following improvemont, designated Highway
Improvement No. 255 , be made under Section 56, City
Charter, and that special assessments be made therefor against
property liable, designated District H-255
and that the City Manager shall prepare and file plans,
specifications and an estimate of cost pursuant to said Section.
On N. W. 5th Avenue, from 8th Street to llth Street,
On N. W. 20th Street, from 2nd Avenue to 7th Avenue;
On H. W. 7th Street, from Seybold's Canal Bridge to 8th
Avenue.
Grading thereof between curbs.
Constructing a concrete curb 6" wide and 14" deep and a
conorete gutter 18" wide and 6" to 7*" deep, on both sides
of the street, except that where a suitable curb and gutter to
proper line and grade is already in place, the construction of a
new curb and gutter will be omitted.
Constructing a pavement of asphaltic macadam 2" thick
upon a foundation of local pit rock 5" thick or of i`entuoky Rook
Asphalt 3/4" compacted thickness upon a foundation of local pit
rook 6" thick, all being 39 feet wide and extending from curb
to curb.
Coustructin the necessary inlets, catch -basins and
connections to sewers.
