RESOLUTION N0. 1744
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO'
PURCHASE CERTAIN PROPERTY SET PORTE IN THIS
RESOLUTION POR STREET PURPOSES OF THE CITY
0P MIAMI.
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the Commission of thee.
City of Miami that NE Third Avenue should be opened from
NE 34th Street to NB Sbth Terrace, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has submitted to the Cos -
mission the offers of the owners of Lot 16, Block 1, Sand-
rioourt and Lot 12 in Jeffries and Bobbins Subdivision,
which prices the Commission deem reasonable, said lots be-
ing necessary in the opening of said Avenue,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the
City of Miami: That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to purchase Lot 16, Block 1, 3andri-
court, for the sum of $4,750.00 and the further consideration
that the oity assume the improvement liens now assessed against
the said lot, and Lot 12 of Jeffries and Robbing Subdivision
for the sum of $12,000.00, said sums to be paid from the tun&
provided for the opening and widening of streets upon the de-
livery of deed by the owners showing good and marketable title.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THUS 16th day of December, A. D. 1924.
