r. F. N. Wharton,
City Manager,
Miami, Florida.
Dear Sir:
Mr. L. S. Julian, who owns Lot 7 of Bloc: 1,
Broadmoor, states that curb was built in front of
his property at his own expense, approximately two
years ago, the cost being a0.00. Our records show
that Engineer .:arsh set stakes for a walk and curb
in front of this property.
In September 1923, the City paved NE 31st street
CITY COMMISSIOW a width of 33', which necessitated the destruction
MEETING OF of the old curb and construction of a new curb. The
co of this new curb in front of the property men -
DEC 09 _,q ah timed, was •354.b8, for which Mr. Julian is assessed.
$e is, however, asking for a credit of only 420.00,
t= cost to him of the old curb.

As the final assessment roll has gone in on this,
•• it will be necessary for the Commission to pass the
proper resolution authorizing a reduction in the as-
sessment if you deem it equitable.
Yours Very truly,
