A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
F.XF,CUTE AN AGREEMENT, FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, GRANTING AN EASEMENT TO THE
FLORIDA PO: ER & LIGHT COMPANY TO CRO3S CERTAIN
LAND WITH A PIPE LINE.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the City of Miami:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Miami,
Florida, a grant of easement to the Florida Power & Light
Company in the following form, to -wit:
GRANT OF EASEMENT
TO LAY AND MAINTAIN A i'IPE FOR TRANSMISSION
OF GAS.
A.D. 1924, by and between the City of Miami, a municipal corpor-
ation of Dade County, Florida, party of the first part, and the
Florida Power & Light Company, a corporation of the State of
Florida, party of the second part;
aITN E632Tii, That for and in consideration of the sum of One
Dollar (N31.00), in hand paid to the party of the first part by
the party of the second part, the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged, and other good and valuable oonsiderationa, the
said party of the first pert hereby grants and gives to the party
of the second part, its successors end assigns, the right of way
and easement five (5) feet in width, with the right, privilege
and authority to the said party of the second part, its successors
and assigns to construct, erect, repair, maintain, replace and
operate a pipe line across and under the following described
land situated and located in Dade County, State of Florida, as
follows: -

A strip of land, five (5) feet in width
across Lot "R" of Rand's Subdivision of
Block 71 and 72 North of the City of Miami,
Florida, and the land in front thereof to
the Miami River, according to the plat re-
corded in Plat Book 2, at page 99 of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida, the
center line of said strip beginning at a
point on the North line of said Lot "R"
and sixteen (16) feet west of the North-
east corner of said Lot "I'" and running in
a direction South 4030' West, fifty-five
(55) feat, more or less to the low water
mark. of the Miami River.
Together with the right to the said party of the second part,
its successors and assigns, of ingress and egress to and over
and under said above described premises of the party of the first
part at any and all times for the purpose of constructing, re-
pairing, renewing and operating said gas pipe line, and for doing
an;, t ning necessary or usual or convenient for the enjoyment of the
