WHERR 8, after reoeipt and tabuldtion of proposals far
furnishing pumps and motors for the storm sewer pWmping plant
to be erected under Storm Sewer Improvement No. 60-1 it ap-
pears that the best bid received and the only bid received
that complied with the specifications for the pumps and motors
is the proposal of the J. B. McCrary Engineering Corporation,
which the Director of Public Service recommends be aooepted,
and
WHEREAS, it is the sense of the Commission that the bid
of the J. B. McCrary Ilkigineering Oorporat ion should be aooept-
ed,
NOW, TH.61iEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission cf the
City of Miami:
1: that the proposal cf the J. B. McCrary Engineering
Corporation to furnish Wood Trash Pumps, direct oonneoted to
General Electric Company's motors, with 70% efficiency, at and
for the sum of 418,840.00 be, and the same is hereby, aooepted.
2: That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to enter into ocntraot with the said J. B. McCrary E ngineeying
Corporation for the said pumps and motors.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of October, A. D.1924.
