WHEREAS, the 01ty Manager reports that dui to the
034rde Line Steamship Company putting an a passenger boat'tr*r
New York to Miami it will be neoessiry to construct s pasien'
ger waiting room at the Municipal Docks, and
WHEREAS, thy agents of the Olyde Steamship 0o. request
that the waiting room be constructed at the west end of Ware-
house #4,
NOW, TEERSPORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the
0ity of Miami:
That the 0ity Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to have a passenger waiting room built at the west end of
Warehouse #4 at the Munioipal Dooke for the use of the Olyde
Line Steamship Company, the oo st of same to be paid from the
Harbor Bond Fund.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of October, A. D. 1924.

Gentlemen: -
The Clyde Line Steamship Co., expects : to :..putor.
passenger boat from New York to Miami, giving a once a•week ser-
vice, for the season, In order to do this it will be necessary
to build a passenger waiting room, which they request to be on
the West end of Warehouse #4, the one now occupied by the Gulf &
Southern Steamship Company.
It seems to be necessary for arrangements to be made
to take care of their passengers and I will ask to be given authority
to provide a waiting room for them, similar to the one provided on
the Baltimore & Carolina Steamship Company dock, the cost of same
will be paid out of the Harbor Bond Fund.
