abutting on West Plagler Street between South River Drive
and a point two hundred feet west of said South River Drive,
has requested that the width of Wiest P'legler Street be in-
creased by five feet on the north side thereof by reduo.

the Oi ty of Miami:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authoris-
ed and directed to take the necessary steps to have West
Flagler Street, tram South River Drive to a point two hun-
dred feet west of South River Drive, paved to an addition-
al width of five feet on the North side of said West Flag-
ler Street.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of Ootober, A. D.
1924.

In view of the fact that West Flagler Street ie going
to be double tracked we have found that there will not be
sufficient space to park a car with convenience in front of
our property on hest Flagler Street extending two hundred
feet from South River Drive past Fifth Avenue on the north
aide of the street.

We have therefore secured the Permission. of the tenants
in this block to allow us thru you to cut down the width of
the present ten foot sidewalk to five feet.
Pie hereby authorize you, as owners of the property, to
cut away five feet of the present sidewalk, leaving a five
foot sidewalk in front of the property. We to stand all
charges for new street, curb and gutter on same basis as the
property hol:iers cn Vest Flagler Street and wauthorize you
to ma]p this assessment against the property.
We trust that you will act on this ratter immediately
so that this work will be started at once while the contract—
ors are in this locality and so that the business people in
this block will sufferof business for the least possible
