TRACT BY THE CITY MANAGER, FOR AND
ON BEHALF 0P THE CITY OP MlAMI, FOE
SUCH WORK.
WHEREAS, on the 26th of August, 1924, the Cammission
of the City of Miami, Florida, received sealed proposals four
the construction of Street Paving to be dons under Highway
Improvements Nos. 838 to 248, inclusive, and
SAS, upon tabulation of the bids received, it
appears that the bid of Morgan -Hill Paving Company for oon- .
struotmon of street paving under contracts 59 and 60 at
and for the sum of $83,105,71, and the bi4 of T. B. MoGahey
Company dor oonstruotion of street paving under contract 61 at
and for the sum of $12,479.72, are the lowest and beat bids
received,
NOW. THEREFORE`:' BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of
the City of Miami:
1: That the bid of Morgan -Hill Paving Company for
oonatruotion of street paving under contraots 89--and 60 at
and for the sum of $83,105.71, and the bid of T. B. Mogahey
for construction of street paving under oontraot 61 at and for
the sum of $12,479.72 be, and the same are hereby, accepted.
2s That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to execute contracts for and on be-
half of the City of Miami with said Morgan -Hill Company and
T. B. MoGahey Company for the work included under Improve-
ments Nos. H-238 to H-243, inclusive, and embraced under
contracts 59, 60 and 61.
3: That the City Manager require the contractors
to furnish bonds with sureties satisfactory to the City
Commission in the amount of the contract prices, conditioned
for the performance of the work in accordance with such con-
tracts, said bonds to be approved by the City Attorney as
td# form and execution.
