A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE ONLY OFFICIAL
CORPORATE SEAL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA,
TO BE THAT SEAL HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED AND SET
FORTH IN THIS RESOLUTION, AND RATIFYING THB
USE OF SUCH SEAL UPON THE GENERAL IMPROVEMENT
BOND IN THE AMOUNT OF - - - - $960,000.00:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the City of Miami:
That the only official corporate seal of the City of Mali,
Florida, be, and is, hereby deolared to be a round seal, two
inches in diameter with the words, "City of Miami" arranged in
a semi -circle form constituting the border around the top and
the words "Dade Co., Florida" around the base, and the design
of a royal palm tree in an upright position in the center of the
seal, with the inscription "Incorporated 1896" inserted just be-
low the center of the seal.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the use of the seal hereinabove
described on the $950,000.00 General Municipal Improvement Bonds
of the City of Miami, Florida, dated July 1, 1924, be, and the
same is, hereby ratified and oonfirmed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that for the purpose of identifica-
tion, that the imprint of the seal as the same appears on this
the original resolution, immediately to the left of these words,
is hereby identified as the imprint of said official corporate
seal of the City of Miami, Florida.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of August, A. D. 1924.
