A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE RESOLUTION
ORDERING THB FURTHER IMPROVEMENT OP
STORM SEWER DISTRICT SR-60-A AND DIRECT-
ING THE PUBLICATION OF NOTICES FOR BIDS
FOR THE WORK.
WHEREAS, the Commission of the City of Miami, by
resolution passed and adopted the l2th day of August, 1924,
ordered the further improvement of Storm Sewer Di atri ot, Sr-
60-1 by the construction and equipment of pumping station, and
the City Manager, under the direction of the Commission of the
City of Miami, has prepared and filed with the City Clerk pleas
and speoifioations of such improvement and an estimate of the
cost thereof, inoluding an estimate of the cost of the incident-
al expenses of said improvement, and
WHEREAS, due notice by publication as regiired by the
City Charter has been made that the Commission of the City of
Miami would an the 26th day of August, 1924, at the City Hall at
9:00 o'clock A. M., revolve and hear the remonstrances of all
interested persons to the confirmation of said resolution order-
ing said improvement, and all remonstrances received having been
heard and oonsidered by the Commission of the City of Miami,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED in the Commission of the
City of Miami:
That the said resolution of the Commission of the City of
Miami ordering said further improvement Storm Sewer District Sr-
60-A be, and the same is hereby, confirmed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk cause to be
published at least three times in the MIAMI HERALD, a newspaper
of general oiroulation in Miami, Florida, and in THE FLORIDA
TIMES -UNION, a newspaper of general circulation throughout the

of contrast made or all bids rejected. After an Mart has beim
made, the checks of all bidders, other than the one to whoa -the
contract has been awarded, Shall be returned. In default of the
entering into of such contrast, the certified oheok required to
accompany such bid shall be forfeited to the City of Miami, Florida,
not as a penalty, but as liquidated damages for the delay or
additional post which may be incurred by the City by reason of
such default. No bid will be permitted to be withdrawn for Say
reason after having been filed with the Clerk.
