CREMATORY 00M1PANY ?OR THE OONSTRUOTION OP TWO mom-
BRATOR PLANTS AND AUTHORIZING THE O I & MANAGER TO EN-
TER INTO OONTRAOT, FOR AND ON BEHALF OP THE OILY GIP
MIAMI, ?LORIDA, ?OR THE SAID WORK.
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service reports that upon
the receipt and tabulation of prices submitted by various firms
for the construction of incinerators that the offer of the Nye
Odorless Crematory Company is the lowest and best offer receiv-
ed and recommends that the satd offer be accepted, and
pfHERB1S, the City Manager has recommended that the Oity con-
struct two incinerator plants instead of one plant at this time
and that the offer of the Nye Odorless Crematory Company be as-
oepted,
NOW, THEME ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the
City of Miam i :
1: That the offer cf the Nye Odorless Crematory Company
to erect and construct twc incinerator plants at and for the awl
of $52,000. for the two be and the same is hereby accepted by
the City of Miami.
2: That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
and directed to enter into contract, for and cn behalf of the
City cf 2dieni, with the said Nye Odorless Crematory Company for
the said work, said contract to be approved by the City Attor-
ney as to form and execution, and treat the said contract be sub-
mitted tc the City Commission for confirmation and approval.
PASSED AND ADOPTBD this 19th day of August, A. D. 1924.
