WHERRLS, the Oity of Miami did on the 26th of July,
1924, issue City Voucher No. 2195 to Redwood Manufaotmr-
ing Company in the enn of 24,805.O2, and
WEIRRAB, the Redwood Manufacturing Ooepar0► advisee
that the said vouoher was destroyed by fire and requests
the City of Miami to issue substitute voucher in like
amount, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that he Redwood Manufactur-
ing Company furnish bond indemnifying the City for the is-
suance of said substitute vouoher in like amount, and
WHEREAS, it is neoessaw that the City indemnify the
bank on which the said voucher was drawn,
NOW, THERE'OR3, Bn IT RESOLVED by the Commission of
the City of Miami:
1: That the Direotor of r'inanoe be, and he is here-
by, authorized and directed to issue City Voucher in the
sum of 424,805.02 to the Redwood Manufacturing Company to
replace the City Voucher heretofore issued in like amount
but destroyed by f ire upon the condition that the said
Redwood Manufacturing Company execute proper bond indemnify-
ing the City cf. Miami, Florida, from any loss that might be
sustained by reason of the loss of the original voucher and
the issuance of the substitute vcucher.
2: That the City Manager and Director of finance be,
and they are hereby, authorized and direoted to execute
