WHEREAS, it is necessary f or the City of Miami to cross un-
der the bed of the Miami Canal at Hialeah with two (2) iron bell-
and-epigo t pipes for carrying raw wa ter from the o ity wells to
the treatment plant and for supplying water to the town of Hia-
leah on the South side of eaid canal, and
tvlist1EAS, upon application made by the City of Miami, the
Board of Commissioners of :`vergladea Drainage District have is-
sued a permit to the City of Miami authorizing said City to cross
under the bed of the Miami Canal with two (2) iron bell -and spi-
got pipes subject to the conditions set forth in the said permit,
i'HE.i.PORE, BE IT RSSOLVLD by the Commission of the City of
Miami:
That the permit issued by the Board of Commissioners of the
�'verglades Drainage District to the City :,f Miami for the purpose
of carrying water from the city wells to treatment plant and for
supplying water to the town or Hialeah on the South side of the
Canal with tv;o (2) cast iron bell -and -spigot pipes under the bed
of the Miami Canal at Hialeah, 'lorida, be, and the same is here-
by, accepted and a ;reed to by the Citir of Miami.

thorized and direoted to sign the said agreement for and on be-
half of the City of Miami.
