WHEREAS, Alice Mathews, a minor, did secure a . judgment
against the City of Miami, Florida, for injuries sustained
at the old Avenue D (South Miami ,Avenue) Bridge and was award-
ed damages in the total sum of $5,761.88, which amount in-
cludes judgment, interest and court costs, and
WHEREAS, this judgment has been confirmed t r the Supreme
Court of the State of Florida,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the Oily
of Miami:
That the Director of Finance be, and he is hereby, au-
thorized and directed to issue City voucher in favor of Alice
Mathews, a minor, in the sum of 45,761.88 upon the proper sa-
tisfaction of the judgment, said satisfaction of judgment to
be approved by the City Attorney.
PASSED AND ADOP T'ED this 29th day of July, A. D. 1924.
