A RESOLUTION LO0EPTING TRH CVPHR Cif THE HIRSOH-
FAUTE-MARRIBON COMPANY TO SELL OHRTAM PROPHB'!'!
SET PORTH IN THE RESOLUTION TO THE OITZ O! MIAMI
FOR STREET PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, in the opening of S. W. let Street across the Flori-
da East Coast Railway Company's right-of-way it is necessary that
the City of Miami aoquire for street purposes certain property now
owned and oocupied by the Hirsch-l'auth-Harrison Company, and
WHEREAS, the said Hirsoh-Fauth-Harrison Company have offered
to convey to the City of Miami the property so needed for street
purposes for and in oon s id era t ion of the sum of .40, 000. 00 and for
the further oonsideration that the City of Miami will agree not to
assess the said Company for any street or sidewalk improvements
alongside the 80 feet of frontage that the said Company will retain
on the south side of S. W. 1st Street and that the said Company
shall have privilege of using euoh available building material the
warehouses located on the property to be conveyed to the City might
contain, said material to be removed at the expense of the said Com-
pany, and
WHEREAS, after due consideration the City Commission deems the
offer of the said Hirsch-Fauth-Harrison Company to be a fair and
reasonable offer,
NOW, THERPP0RE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the City
of Miami:
1: That the offer of the Hirsoh-Fauth-Harrison Company to con-
vey certain property and the buildings thereon desoribed as follows:
The North 50 feet of Lote 3 and 4
Buildings on Lots 3 and 4,
Lot 38
Building on Lot 38; a000rding to an unrecorded
plat of Powell & MoDonald' a Warehouse Subdivision, for the consider-
ations set forth in said offer be, and the same is hereby, accepted
in accordance with the terms and conditions in said offer.
