A RESOLUTION A003PTING THE OFFER OF Mkt. A. L. RCP-,
PER TO SILL LOT 16, BLOCK 2, BEVERLY, AND Aunica-
ittm THE C I'IY MANAGER, Pat AND ON BCE HALF 010 THE
CITY OF MIAMI, TO PURCHASE SAID LOT AND PROVIDING
FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE PURCHASE PRICE.
WHEREAS, in the opening of N. E. 3rd Avenue through to N. E •
34th Street it is necessary that the City acquire Lot 16 of Block
2, Beverly Subdivision, for street purposes, and
WHEREAS, A. L. Hoffer, the owner of the said Lot 16 of Block
2, Beverly Subdivision, has, under date of June 18th, 1924, offer-
ed to sell the lot for $13, 500.00,
THEREFOLE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the City of
Miami :
1: That the offer of A. L. Hoffer to sell to the city of Mi-
ami Lot 16 o�' Block 2, Beverly Sabel ivision, at and for the sum; -of
413,500.00 be, and the same is hereby, accepted.
2: That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
and directed to purchase the said lot for and on behalf of the
City of Miami, .:11 deeds and instruments in the transaction to be
approved by the City Attorney as to fern and execution.
3: That the purchase price be paid from the Bond Fund for
the Opening and Widening of Streets when funds are available.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of June, 24. 1). 1924.
