A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PR0P0 SED EEXTEN-
SION OF PEEMI MED IREDGING AREA AND EXTEN-
SION OF TIME TO THE BAY BISCAY NE IMPROVE -
MENT COMPANY FOR DREDGING OPERATIONS IN BIS-
CAY NE BAY .
WHIMS, in a communisation addressed to the City Manager of
the City of Miami, i'1orida, tkr. A. L. Brunson, Jr., Junior engin-
eer, United States Engineers Office et Miami Beach, Florida, re-
quested the City of Miami to set forth the views of the City in re-
ference to the proposed extension of permitted dredging area and
extension of time to be granted the Bay Biscayne Improvement Company
by the U. S. Gavernment for dredging operations in Biscayne Bay by
the said Company, and
WEi:R.&AS, after an examinf:tion of the blueprint designating
the proposed extens .on of dredging area and after duly cone ider-
ing the extension of time from June 30th, 1924, to October 31st,
1924, to be granted the said Company it is the sense of the City
Commission that the City of Miami has no objections o the propos-
ed exte nsions ,
NO;;, TE REFORE, BE I'T RESOLVED by the Commission of the City
of Miami:
1: That the proposed extension of dredging area and exten-
sion of time to be granted the Bay Biscayne Improvement Company
for dredging• operations in Biscayne Bay as set forth in the oommu-
niceticn of hir..1. L. Brunson, Jr., to the City Manager, and desig-
nated on a certain blueprint ent itled "Proposed r' ctension of Dredg
ing Area for Islands in Biscayne Bay at Miami, Florida," and dat-
ed Decesuber 1921, ana which blueprint makes reference to Permit
No. 125651, Dated May 12, 1920, be, and the same is hereby, apprav
e d by the C i tty of Miami.
2: That a certified copy of this resolution be furnished the'
