WEEMS, it is necessary that the Oity of Miami acquire cer-
tain property for an approach to the Municipal Bridge that ie to
be erected and constructed at NW Fifth Street in the Oity of Miami.
Florida, and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami owns certain property in that im-
mediate vicinity and also P. L. Henderson and C. Meeks own other
property in and around that said locality, and
WHEREAS, P. A. Henderson and O. Meeks have offered to exchange
the oertain property below described provided that the City of Mi-
ami will deed to them certain other property below desoribed, and
WHEREAS, this transfer of said property on behalf of the Oity
of Miami by the City Manager in lien of P. A. Henderson and C.
Meeks transferring pertain other described property to the said
City of Miami is deemed by the Oit9 Commission to be to the best
interests of the citizens of the Oity of Miami,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the C ommi es i o n of the Oily
of Miami:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and
direoted to exeoute a warranty deed by and an behalf of the City
of Miami to P. A. Henderson and C. Meeks for the following des- 0 C!)

thereof recorded in Plat Book 2, at page 99 of the Public Reoords
of Dade County, Florida; also all riparian rights annurtenant

Beginning at a point on the Zest line of Lot 6, Block 71
North, of Rand'e Subdivision of Block Seventy-one (71) and Se-
venty-two (72) North of the Oity of Miami, Florida, and the land
in front thereof to the Miami River, a000rding to the plat Here-
of recorded in Plat Book 2, page 99, Public Records of Dade Coun-
ty, Florida, said point be irg 10 feet South of North Nast Corner
of said lot; thenoe West parallel to North line of said Lot,
57.0 feet, more or Less, to point of tangency; thence Souther-
ly along a curve with a radius of 22 feet, and a central angle
of 1290 30'; thence South Baaterly 80.0 feet, more or less, to
a point of tangency; thenoe South Baster]y along a curve with
a radius of 152 feet and a central angle of 18° 30' to a point an
the Bast line of said lot, said point being 11 feet, more or less,
Borth of South best Corner of said Lot; thence North 116 feet,
more or less, along the East line of said Lot to point of beginn-
ing.
This deed is to be executed provided the said P. A. Hender-
son and C. Meeks deed to the City of Miami, by warranty deed, the
fallowing de soy ibe d property :
Beginning at a point on the Southernly side of North West
North River Drive, and tangent to said side, said point being 32.5
feet, more or less, North Westerly from North West Corner of Lot
g; thence Westerly on a curve with a radius of 80 feet and a
central angle of 58° 58' 40", more or less, to the West line of
that portion of Lot 13, Block 70 North lying South of North West
5th Street; thenoe North along said West line to North West
Corner of said portion of said Lot 13; thence East along North
line of said Portion of said Lot, 25.0 feet, more or less, to the_.
intersection of South side of North West 5th Street and North West:
North River Drive to point of beginning; containing 1143.7 square
feet, more or less.
The above description and oonveyanoe being in accordance to
plat made of said City of Miami by A. L. Knowlton, C. E., and fil-
ed in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for
Dade County, Florida, whioh timid property Se a pert of the said
property oonveyed by the Model Land Company to Calvin E. Oak, es
made the 2nd day of January in 1919 and reoorded in Deed Book 185,
page 415 and filed for reoord on January 18, A. D. 1919, which
desoription is more partioularly described as follow3:
Beginning on the East bank of Miami River at a point whirs
the Westline of Avenue L extended South tnterseote the low Meter
line of Miami River; thence Southerly with the low water line of
Miami River 160 feet to a point; thence North to intersection with
West line of North River Street; thenoe North Westerly with the
West line of North River Street to its intersection with S outh
line of Seventh Street; thence West with the South line of Se-
venth Street to its intersection with the West line of Avenue L;
thence South slth the West line of Avenue L extended to place of
beginning.
Beginning at a point 14.7 feet, more or less, South of the
North West Corner of Lot 13, Block 70 North of Miami, Florida, in
a000rdance with plat made of said City by A. L. inowlton, C. E.,
and filed in P1L t Book B, page 41 in the office of the Clerk of
the Circuit Court in and for Dade County, Florida, and with West
line of said Lot as tangent, run South Easterly on a curve, with
a radius of 125 feet and aoentral angle of 90012' 30" to a point
on the East line of Lot 14, Block 70 North, 10 feet North of the
South East Corner of said Lot; thence South 10 feet to said
South East Corner; thence West 125.3 feet, more or less, to the
South West Corner of Lot 13, Block 70 North; thence North 135.3
feet, more or less, to point of beginning.
BE IT 2UPTHER RESCLVED that the City Manager be, and he is '
hereby, directed to pay to P. A. Henderson and C. Meeks the sum
of Twelve Thousand (012,000.00) Dollars for tile building looated
and situated upon said property whioh is deeded by said P. A.
Henderson and C. Meeks to the City of Miami, and the said Twelve
Thousand (412,000.00) Dollars be, and is hereby, appropriated from
the Bridge Bond Fund for the payment of same when funds are avail-
able.
