WHEREAS, in the widening oai. W. Second Avenue it is ne..
oe0sary to alter the building situated on Lot 5 of Block 8 of
Johnson & Waddell's Subdivision in order that the city obtain
the West 5 feet of said lot for street purposes, and
IgH3REAS, C. 0; Rochester has agreed to alter aq id build-
ing for the sun of 41,000.00 and to convey to the City street
purposes the west 5 feet of said lot,
THEREBIORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the City
of Miami:
1: That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to pay to .1. 0. Rochester the sun of 41,000.00 upon the comple-
tion of the alteration of the building situated on Lot 5 of
Block 5 of Johnson & Waddell's subdivision and upon the convey-
ance to the city the west five feet of the sa id lot and block
of Johnson & Waddell's subdivision.
2: That the said sum of 41,000 be paid from the Reserve
far Cott ingencies.
