A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DOCTOR OP' PINANOR TO
RE@'UND TO THE DALE MILLER REALTY COMPANY TIME BUM CT
*L014.31 INTEREST PAID ON IMPROV MIT LIMB.
WHEREAS, The Dale Miller Realty Company are the aWnorb of
certain land situated between the white residential eeotion end
the colored residential section in the northwest part of the City
which land is known as "No Mans Land" by reason of the fact that
the colored citizens do not want the white citizens to build up-
on the land and the white citizens do not want the land occupied
by the colored citizens, and
WHEREAS, there were certain city improvement liens aga Last
the said land which said liens, together with interest thereon,
hare been paid by the Dale Miller Realty Company, and an account
of the peculiar situation of the land and the inability of the
Dale Lliller Realty Company to dispose of same to either white or
colored buyers, the said Company request the refund of the inter-
est paid by them on the said liens, and
VIETMEAS, it is the sense of the Commission that cor,eidering
the oircumstanoee a refund of the interest is justified,
/TOW, THEREB'(RE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the City
of Miam i :
That the Director of Finance be, and he is hereby, authorized
and directed to refund to The Dale :Tiller Realty Company the sum
of 41014.31, interest paid on improvement liens against W 402.5 ft.
of WW of 1W of Section 36-53-41.
