AND AUTHORIZING THE 1X0UTI0N CF A CONTRACT BY
THE CITY MLNAGFR, FOR AND ON BEBALW CB THE CITl
OP MIAMI, WITH SAID NICHOLAS J. BALESTRIBRI•
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Director of Public Service
report that upon tabulation and consideration of the offers re-
ceived for the furnishing of equipment and labor for digging ap-
proximately Forty Thousand (40,000) linear feet of ditch for the
water pipe line from Hileah to Miami it appears that the bid of
Nicholas J. Baleetrieri is the lowest and best bid, and
iEREAB, the said 0 ity Manager and the Director of Public
Service recommend that the offer of the said Nioholae J. Bales-
trieri be accepted and the execution of a contract authorized,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED D by the Commission of the City
of Miami:
1: That the offer of Nicholas J. Lam::ihstrieri for the furnish-
ing of equipment and labor for digging approximately Forty Thou-
sand (40,000) linear feet of ditch for the water pipe line from
Hialeah to Miami at and for the unit price of 78d per linear foot
be, and the same is hereby, accepted in accordance with the terms
and conditions set forth in the said offer.
2: That the City Manager be and is hereby authorized to en-
ter into contract with the said Nicholas J. Baleetrieri for the pur-
poses aforesaid, said contract to be approved as to form and execu-
tion by the City Attorney.
3: 1'na t the laid contractor be and is he. eby required to fur-
nish band for the faithful performance
be approved by the City Attorney.
