WSBRUS, by Ordinance No. 240, passed and adopted by
the City ()omission on the 29th day of April, 1924, en el-
ection was duly called for the purpose of voting upon the
issuance of bonds of the City of Miami, ani
WSMBAS, the following question, together with others,
was proposed at said election:
"Shall bonds of the City of Miceli, not eoeed-
ing ,300,000.00 be issued for the oonatruotion
of a bridge and approaohes, together with the
necessary land abutting and adjacent thereto,
said bridge connecting N. W. Fifth Street on
the east side of the MiamiRiver, to N. W.
Fourth Street on the west side of the Miami
River?"

WHEREAS, the said question was duly voted upon and
carried by a majority of the qualified electors, 'as re-
quired by said Ordinance No. 240,
NOW, THERAPORS, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of
the City of Miami:
That the Director of Public Service be, and he is here-
by, authorized and directed to make application to the War
Department for permit to construct a bridge actress the Miami
River at the location set forth in the preamble of this Reao-
lut ian .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of May, A. D. 1924.
