WHARTON April 16.1924 In the matter of summer band oonoerte. I have taken this matter up with Mr. A.Mutahler, leader of Mutahler's band, and asked him to submit to me a proposition, whioh he did and which is hereto attached. These summer band concerts proved very popular to our home people last summer, and 1 believe they ought to be continued this summer for the enjoument of the summer population. Mt. btutshler'a proposition is to furnish an average of 30 men for each conoert, inaluding soloists, at 4200.00 per concert. l would tbiiii recommend that these concerts be given through the months of duly, august and aepteinber, which will total around 05,000.00 for the three months. if this meets with your approval, 1 would like to have the proper resolution passed authorizing the city Manager to arrange for these concerts. ±respectfully, u 1 l' Y MANAGR • tty Oity.
