213 TO 223. BOTH INCLUSIVE.
IVH E S, tabulation of the bids received] on March llth 192
for street paving under Highway Improvements Noe. 213 to 23,
both inclusive, have been prepared and submitted by the CityMana
-
ger and the Director of Public Service, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Director of Public Servios
recommend that contracts be awarded to John J. uinn Company for
paving under Districts H-213, H-214 and H-216; to the Morgan -
Hill Paving Company for paving under Districts H-216, H-217, H-220,
H-221 and H-223; and to the T. B. McGahey Company for paving un-
der Districts H-218, H-219 and H-222, and
WHEREAS, after due consideration, it is deemed advisable by
the Commission to award the contracts as recommended by the City
Manager and the Director of Public Service,
NOW, 2HERE1?Ol1;, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the City
of Miami:
1: That the bid of John J. ,uinr. Company far paving under
Highway Improvement Districts H-213, H-214 and H-215 at and far
the prices set forth in their proposal be, and is hereby, accepted.
2 : That the bid of the Morgan -Hill Paving Company for paving
under H ighv:ay Impr ovem a nt Dia tr is t s E-216, H-217 , H-2 20 , H-221 and
H-223 at and for the prices set forth in their proposal be, and is
hereby, accepted.
3: lea t the bid of T. 3. McGahey Company far paving under
Highway Impr ovement Die triots H-21t3, H-219 and 11-222 et and for the
prises set forth in their proposal be, and is hereby, accepted.
4: That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and
directed to enter into contract with the said John J. w;uinn Company
the Liorgan-Hill Paving Company and T. B.Liclahey Company, said con -
treats to be approved as to farm and execution by the City Attorney.
5: That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, directed to
submit to the Commission the contracts and bends of the successful
bidders to be approved and confirmed by the City Commission.
