A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING •
THE CITY MANAGER TO PURCHASE CERTAIN
CONTINUOUS STAVE REDWOOD PIPE FOR THE
PROPOSED WATER LINE FROM HIALEAH TO
MI AMI .
WHEREAS, by communication of the Director of Public
Service, dated the fourth day of March, 1924, said communica-
tion being addressed to the City Manager, setting forth in
detail the cost of Cast Iron Pipe, the cost of Continuous Stave
Pipe and, also, Continuous Stave Redwood Pipe for the proposed
30-inoh water line from Hialeah to Miami, and,
WHEREAS, the Direotor of Public Service and the City
Manager reoommend the purchase of the Continuous Stave Redwood
Pipe as the best and most appropriate for said proposed water
line from Hialeah to Miami,
NOW, THEREFOR, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MI AMI :
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
and directed to purchase approximately Forty-two thousand (42, 000)
feet, or as much as is required, of Continuous Stave Redwood Pipe,
for the proposed 30-inch water line from Hialeah to Miami, as set
forth in the communication of the Director of Public Service and
recommended by the City Manager of the City of Miami.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this ay of March, A. D. 1924.
