IEN:HAS, the Oity Manager reports that due to the
large number of broken sewers to repair, manholes to re-
build and other sewer maintenanoe oasts that were not an-
tioipated at the time the budget estimate for the fiscal
year was prepared and made necessary by the street paving
work, and due to the purohase of new hose for the sewer
turbine machine whioh is in constant use in cleaning out
sanitary sewers, it is necessary that an addition appro-
priation of 43,000.00 be made for sewer maintenanoe, ao-
oount 141-68, "Repairs and Materials", and
WHEREAS, it is the sense of the Commission that the
additional appropriation is necessary and should be made,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of
the City of Miami:
1: That the sum of 03,000.00 be and is hereby appro-
priated from the General Fund Surplus to account 141-68,
"Repairs and Materials" in Division of Sewer Maintenance,
Department of Public Service.
2: That a copy of this resolution be furnished by
the City Clerk to the Director of Finanoe.
