PARTY BELOW DESCRIBED TO TES TRUSTERS OP TES IN-
TERNAL IURROVSUENT FUND FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION
0P THS TRUSTEES OF THE I.I. FUND ESELMOUTING AND DI-
LIVRING TO THE CITY OP MIAMI A QUIT -CLAIM DEED
FOR CERTAIIi OTHER SUBMERGED LAND.
WHEREAS, The City of Miami, by a quit -claim deed dated the
21et day of Deoember, 1915, secured a certain strip of submerged
land 215 feet in width and extending across Biscayne Bay from the
Trustees of the Internal Improvement Fund for a munioipal channel;
and
WHEREAS, a subsequent deed was issued and exeouted to the Al-
ton Beaoh Realty Company from the Internal Improvement Board which
said deed embraoed and covered a part of the said Submerged land
heretofore quit -claimed to the City of Miami, and
WEEREAS, no portion or part of said land below described and
authorized to be quit -claimed to the Trustees of the I nternal Im-
provement Fund has been, or is now used by the City: of Miami for a
municipal channel or other municipal purpose, and
WEr:RS/IS, the City of Miami is desirous of securing other sub-
merged land in consideration for the execution and delivery of said
quit -claim deed to the I. I. Fund, and
WHEREAS, the minutes of the 'Trustees of the I nternal Improve-
ment Fund dated .ray 9, 19 1, show that the said Trustees agree that
upon the City of Miami furnishing the 'trustees a proper description
of the submerged land desired, that same would be given proper and
due corisinerati gin,

th:r ized and directed to execute a quit -claim deed on behalf of the
City of Liana to tr.e Trustees of

From a point 1480 feet north and 2015 feet west of
the southeast corner of Section 4, Township 54 South, Range
42 East, this said point being the intersection of the cen-
ter line of the roadway of the Miami Causeway Concrete Via-
duct and the face of the adjoining concrete parapet, run
south 670 05' west along oenter line of said roadway pro-
duoed a distance of 58.7 feet; thence south 310 43' east
a distance of 64.75 feet; thence southwesterly along the
southerly bulkhead of said causeway, as said bulkhead is now
located and constructed, 625 feet, more or less, for a point
of beginning, this said point of beginning being 295 feet
from the center line of the Miami Municipal Channel and 11,920
feet from the westerly point of the center line of the said MU
nioipal Channel as described and shown in Zxhibit "A" of deed
recorded in Deed Book 149 at page 1 of the Public Reoords of
Dade County, Florida; thence continuing southwesterly along
said southerly bulkhead line 495 feet, more cr less, to a
point 153 feet at right angles from the said center line of
said Municipal Channel; thence South 250 29' west, 73 feet
to a point 80 feet from center line of said Municipal Channel;
thence South 640 31' east along a line parallel to and 80 feet
from said Channel center line 4270 feet, more or less, to a
point 13,720 feet, more or less, easterly from the easterly
point of the center line of the said municipal channel, as
described :And shown in ..chibit "x"cf deed recorded at Page 1
of Deed Book 149, Public hecords of Dade County; thence North
25° 29' Jest, )15 feet; thence North 64° 31' west 1800 feet,
more or less , to the point of be ginning.
Section 2: That the City Iianager be, and he is hereby,
authorized anu directed to deliver said quit -claim deed to the
Trustees of the Internal Improvement Fund upon the Trustees of
the Internal Improvement Fund executing and delivering a quit-
claim deed to tLe City of Miami for the property known and des-
cribed as follows:

A strip of submerged land in Biscayne Bait 800 feet wide
located parallel with the Municipal Channel aorosa BtBoagne
Bay, as said Channel is show", and designated on map marked
"Sxhibit A" attached to Pied in Deed Book 1490 Page 1, at Es-
oorder's Office, Dade County, Florida.
The northerly line of the strip conveyed is 595 feet
north from and parallel with the venter line of said Channel
and said center line is a straight line between two points
whose position is determined as follows;
The westerly point is in Biscayne Bay in the center line
of First Street produced into the Bay 2350 feet; more or less,
from the intersection of said center line of First Street with
the center line of the Boulevard along the Bay Front, all as
shown upon a map made by Isham Randolph & Co., dated 0ctober
1915 on a scale of 1" equals 6001.
The easterly point is in the center line of and at the
westerly end of the channel already cut by the U. S. Govern-
ment and known as the Government Cut as shown on Government
Ma p .
The westerly line of the strip herein conveyed is the
west line of the N. E. 4 of the N. W. h of Section 5, Town-
ship 54 South, Range 42 East.
