Thereas, the Commission Of the City of Miami, by repolution passed and adopted the 2th day of Jarman' 1924
ordered Highwaar Improvemen -214 , District gr214
and the City Manager, under the direction of the Commission of
the City of Miami, has .eared and filed with the City Clerk
plans and specifications of such improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, inoluding an estimate of the cost of the
incidental expenses cf said imerovement, and whereas due notice
by publication as required by the City Charter has been made
that the Commission of the City of Murat would on the
19th day of February 1924 , at the City
Hall, at 9:00 a.m. o'clock, reoeive and hear the remonstrances
of all interested persons to the confirmation of said resolution
ordtrin3. said imerovement, and all remonstrances received having
been heard and considered by the Commicsion of the City of Miami.
Therefore, Le It resolved by the Commission of the City
of Miami, Florida, that the said resolttion of the Commission of,.
the City cf Miami ordering said Hip;hwav Improvement No, H-214
ristrict H-214 be, and the same is hereby confirmed.
Be It Further Resolved, that the City Clerk cause to be
published at least 4 times in the MUM HERALD
a newspaper of :eneral circulation in Miami, Florida, and in
TES FLORIDA TIMES -UNION
a newseaeer cf eeneral ciroulat4.on throughout the State, Pub-
lished at Jacksonville , Flurida, a notice calling for ;-
sealed bids tc be received by the Commission of the City of Maarai

After an award has been made, the ehecko of all bidders, other
than the one to whom the contract has been awarded, shall be re_
turned. In default cf the emerine into of such contraet, the
certified check required to accoreany such bid shall be for-
feited to the City of aami, Florida, nct RS a penalty, but a.Q.
liquidated dareaocs for the delay oi additional cost which may
be incurred by the City, by reason ef such default. Uo bid
will be ?emitted to be withdrawn for any reason whatever after
