HOSPITAL
11HEREAB, Mr. E. B. Douglas, 0ha irmen of the Board of Direo.
tors of the Miami 0ity Hospital, reports that due to the large
inorsase in charity patients during the current fiscal year it
is necessary that an additional appropriation of $20,000.00 be
made to meet the general operating expense of the Hospital, and
WHEREAS, the Commission, after due ooneideration,bslieves
that the additional appropriation is needed, but owing to the
small balance in the General -Fund Surplus deems it advisable to'
make an appropriation of only 410,000.00 at this time,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the 0ommieeion of the
0ity of Miami:
1: That the sum of 410, 000.00 be, and is hereby, appro-
priated from the General Fund Surplus to the Miami 0 ity Hospi-
tal.
2: That a oopy of this resolution be furnished to the
Director of Finanoe by the City 0lerk.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of February, A. D. 1924.
