A. RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF 1750.00 FROM
THE GENERAL FUND SURPLUS TO THE ACCOUNT OF "SALARIES"
IN THE CITY CLERK'S OFFI01.
WHEREAS, the City Clerk reports that the volume of work
in his office has increased so that it is necessary that he
have assistance to properly maintain the records and duties
of his office, and
WHEREAS, there is no item in the appropriations to said
office out of which such expense could be properly paid, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that an appropriation of $750.
be made from the General Fund Surplus for the purpose afore-
said,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the
City of Miami:
1: That the sum of $780.00 be, and is hereby appropriat-
ed from the General Fund Surplus for the purpose of paying for
such assistance for the remainder of the fiscal year.
2: That the City Clerk furnish a copy of this resolu-
tion to the Director of Finance forthwith.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of February, A. D. 1924.
