A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF 0400.00 FOR
THE PURPOSE 01 ACQUIRING THE EAST FIVE FEET OP THE
SOUTH THIRTY-THREE FEET OF LOT ONE IN BLOOK ONE
HUNDRED THIRTY-NINE NORTH, OITY OP MIAMI, 18 SET
FORTH IN THE RESOLUTION.
WHEREAS, in the widening of S. W.2nd Avenue, Mr. Thos. J.
Hoofer placed in escrow in the Southern Bank & Trust Company a
deed to the Bast five feet of the South thirty-three feet of
Lot One in Block One Hundred Thirty-nine North, 0 ity of Miami,
said deed to be delivered to the 0ity of Miami upon the pay-
ment of $400.00, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that an appropriation be made
for the purpose of acquiring the said property,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Oommission of the
Oity of Miami:
That the sum of $400.00 be, and is hereby, appropriated
from the STREET 'WIDENING RUED FUND for the purpose of acquir-
ing by purchase the property hereinabove set forth.
PASSED AHD ADJPTED this 12th day of February, A. D. 1924.
