Whereas, the Commission Of the City of Miami, by reso-
lution Passed and adopted the 22no day of J iiari .19, $4.
ordered 8initnry Sewelkprovement ;�ry District I'- 90
and the City Manager, under the direction of the Com teeion of
the City of Miami, has prepared and filed with the City Clerk
plans and specifications of such improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the coat of the
incidental exi:enses of said imerovement, and whereas due notice
by publication as required by the City Charter has been wade
that the Commission of the City of Miami would on the
29th day of January 192 4, at the City
Hall, at 9:00 a .m. o'clock, receive and hear the remonstrances
of all interested persons to the confirmation of said resolution
ordering said improvement, and all remonstrances received caving
been heard and considered by the Co..iwicsion of the City of Miami.
Therefore, Be It Feeolved by the Commiosion of the City
of Miami, Florida, that the said resolttt.lon of the Commission of
the City of i;:iami ordering saSidl yrrrnewer Improvement No. sr. 90
District .o0 be, and the same is hereby confirmed.
Be It Further Resolved, that the City Clerk cau

lished,at Jao�:sor:vibe , Florida, a notice 'calling for
sealed b4ds to be received by the Comr.,ission of the City of Miami
on the N

o'clock, for the construction of the said work., Said notice
shall ctate the improvement is to be constructed, and paid for
in cash, under Section 56, of the City Charter. Any bid cover-
ing work to he done under mere than one resolution shall be in
such form as to permit a separation to be wade of the cost under
each resolution. Each prcposal must be accompanied by a cer- .
tified creek upon a bank or trust company of Florida,in the a,wount
cf 2 2% c f the amount of the bid, payable to the City of Miami,
to insure the execution of a contract and bond to carry cut the
work in accordance with the plans and specifications. All bids
will ue opened and award of contract maae or all bids rejected.
After an award has been made, the check. of all bidders, other
than the one to whore the contract has been awarded, shall be re-
turnee, In default of the entering into of such contract, the
certified check regiired to accor..pany such bid shall be for-
feited to the City of Uiarai, Florida, not as a penalty, but ae
liquidated dar:.a..7es for the delay or additional cost which may
be incurred by the City, by reason of such default. No bid
will be permitted to be withdrawn for any reason whatever .after
having: been filed with the Clerk.
