WHEREAS, the City Commission are desirous of obtainiig''
the East five (5) feet of the South twenty (20) feet of Lot
0ne (1), Block 138 North for the purpose of widenin6 Southwest•
Second Avenue,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the
City of Miami that the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to purchase the East five (5) feet of
the South twenty (20) feet of Lot 1, Block 138 North for the
sum of One thousand ($1, 000.00) dollars upon the execution and
delivery of a warranty deed and the approval of the title by
the City Attorney.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of One thousand
($1,000.00) dollars be and the same is hereby appropriated from
the street widenint, fund for the purchase of the above
described property.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this ✓. day of January, A.D.1924.
