A RESOLUTION AO0EPTING THE RESIGNATION CS •
on'! ATTORNEY A. J. ROSE.
WHEREAS, Judge A. J. Rose, for several yeare City Attorner
for Miami, did on January lbth, 1924, tender to the City Commis-;
sion his resignation as City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, Judge Roee has succesefully advised the City 00m-
miseion and handled a great many legal matters coming
courts while City Attorney, and in every instance the Commission
has found him to be willing, capable and obliging,
NOW, .TEEREFORE, BE IT RSSOLVED by the Commission of the
City of Miami:
That it is with sincere regret that we accept his resig-
nation and wish for him a long, propserous and happy life.
BS IT FURTHER RESOLVED that we hereby extend to him our
heartiest thanks for the kind worde and good wishes he express
ed in 1.is communication to us concerning the work cf the City
Commission, and we assure him that his able counsel contributed
no little in bringing about whatever success has been attained.
That while we lose the valued services of Judge Rose as City
Attorney, the people of the eleventh judicial circuit are to be
congratulated in securing hie services as their judge.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and is here-
by, directed to send a copy of this resolution to his Honor,
Judge A. J. Rose.
