A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO PURE
OWE AND HAVE INSTALLED BUi3L wary G.tTES ON GIRT
BRIDGES CROSSING TH8 MIAMI RIVER AND MAKING AN AP-
PROPRIATION FOR THE PAYMENT THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Direotar of Public,
Service recommends that the S. W. 3eoond Avenue Bridge, the
South Miami Avenue Bridge and the West Plegler Street Bridge
be equipped with Buda Safety Gates for the protection of
traffic crossing the said bridges, and
WHEREAS, it is estimated that the cost of purchasing
and installing the said gates will be approximately $7,000.00,
and
WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it neoessary that
such gates should be installed on the bridges hereinabove
mentioned,

City of Miami:
1; That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, author-
ized to purchase, thru the proper officers of the City, Buda
Safety Gates and necessary matcrials aLd equipment for in-
stalla Li n sale on the b12iuges 1,erei:.3bnve tot forth.
2: That the sum of 47,000.00 be, and is hereby, appro-
priated from Bond Fund B-5 for the purpose of paying for the
said gates, materials and equipLlent and for the installation
of sacie , sa ia. fund to be reimbursed when funds are available.
