A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO PUR-
CHASE LOTS 9 AND 16, BLOCK 45, MARY BRICKELL'S
B'LAGLER ADDITION, AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH, 4JD
APPROPRIATING THE SUM 0? $3500.00 FROM THE STREET
WIDENING BOND FUND FOR THE PAYMENT THEREOF.
WHEREAS, it is necessary in the widening of South Miami Ave-
nue that the City of Miami acquire the front fifty feet of Lots
10 to 15, inclusive, of Block 45, Mary Briokell's Flagier Addition,
said lots oelonging to 1. Thos. L. Felts, and
WHEREAS, the owner of said lots has agreed to convey to the
City of Miami for street purposes the said front fifty feet of
Lots 10 to 15, inolusive, in said Block in exchange for Lots 9
and 16 in the same block, and
WHIEn65, it is necessary to appropriate the sum of 0500.00
from the Street :ridening Bond Fund for the purpose of purchasing
said Lots 9 and 16 to give in exchange for the front fifty feet
of Lots 10 to 15, inclusive, in accordance with the agreement be-
tween the City of i:iiatui and the Holleman Park Company,
NOW, `1'HSR URR, BR IT LSOLVED by the Commission of the City
of Miami
1: That the City Tanager be, and he is hereby, authorized
and directed to take the necessary steps to effect the widening
of South Miami Avenue in front of Lots 10 to 15, inclusive, of
Block 45, Mary Brickell's Plagler Addition in accordance with the
agreement between. the City of ;,:ia:..i and the Holleman Par:_ Company
and .:r. Thos. L. Pelts.
2: That the sum of se,3 00.00 be, and the same is hereby, ap-
propriated from tLe street ,.ider.in Masud Fund for the purpose of
paying for the property to be aiquired by the City of l.:iami under
the agreement herei:.abeve laentioned.
