ARBSOLUTION AUTHORIZING 1 ROUND 0, #21.40
TO MR., J. A. EARN= FOR NRRONBOUS LOTHOLNANN (

WHEREAS, Mr. J. J.. Karnes has submitted claim for re-
fund amounting to 421.70 for lot cleaning of lots 4 and 8
of Block 37 Lawrenoe Estate, which, according to affidavit
made by said Mr. Karnes were never cleaned by the City of
Mlemi, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that after investi-
gation he finds no reoord of the said lots having been
cleaned by the City, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission believes that the said
lots were erroneously assessed and that the assessment paid
therefor should be refunded,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the
City of Miami, that the Direotor of Binanee be, and he is
hereby, authorized and directed to refund to Mr. J. A. Karnes
the sum of 4i21.70 paid by him for erroneous assessment for
lot cleaning.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of, anuary, A.D. 1924.
