WHEREAS, the alleys extending in a northerly and southerly di. reotion and bisecting Blocks 31 and 32 respectively of Waddell,'s Ad- dition to the loam of Miami according to a plat thereof recorded in ,Plat Book B, at page 53, of the public records of Dade County, Florida, are of no benefit as alleys or highways to the City of to the inhabi- tants thereof; and WHEREAS, the owners of the properties abutting upon said alleys have requested the Commission of the City of Miami to vacate the same; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Commission of the City of Miami that: SECTION I. The following described portions of highways lying and being within the corporate limits of said city, according.to the plat of Waddell's Addition to the Town of Miami, recorded.in Plat Book B, at page 53, of the public records of Dade County, Florida, be, and the same are hereby, vacated, discontinued and abolished: (a) All that certain alleyway extending from the south line of Morse Street according to the plat aforesaid (now designated oh the official plat of the City of Miami,ae Northwest 17th Street) to the north line of Parrott Street (now designated on the official plat of the pity of Miami as Northwest 16th Street) whioh said alleyway bi- eeate Block 31 and is bounded on the east by Lots 1, 5, 6, 9, 10 an( 13 and on the west by Lots 2, 4, 7, 6, 11 and 12; (b) All that certain alleyway extending from the south line of Mores Street according to the plat aforesaid (now designated on the official plat of the City of Miam/ as Northwest 17th Street) to the north line of Parrott Street (row designated on the official plat of the City of Miami as Northwest 16th Street), which said alleyway bieeota $look B2 and is bounded on the east by Lots 1, 4, 6, 8, 9 and 12 and on the west by :Lots 2, 3, 6, 7, 10 and 11. SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and legal publication thereof. SECTION III. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. I would like to thank you for sending the ordinance to Mr. Hill for our information. I axn returning the ordinance to your office, per the suggestion of Mr. Hill, and would request that it be certified a true copy. Please let me know if there is a charge for this service. Also, I would like to verify two facts regarding the ordinance. Would you please confirm whether or not this ordinance was recorded in the public records and whether or not there might have been a rededication of this alley.' In the event that there has not been a recordation of the subject alley vacation, would it be possible to have this vacation ordinance recorded?
