authorizing and requiring the City Commission to sell and convey
to the Harvey Seeds Post, No. 29, American Legion, Department of
Florida, at Miami, Florida, the property described as follows:
Lots two (2) and three (3) of Block forty-one
(41) Forth, of the City of Miami, according
to the Knowlton plat ot said city an file in
the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court
in and for aide County, Florida,
at and for the consideration of One Dollar (1.00) and for the fur-
ther consideration that the grantees construct and erect thereon a
memorial home for tie American Legion as a memorial to the deceased

That a special election is hereby railed and directed to
be held on the loth day of April at the City Hall in the City of
Miami., bade County, Florida, for the purpose of submitting to the
qualified voters the question as to whether or not the following pro-,
posed ordinance shall become a law of the City of ;Miami, which pre-►
posed ordinance is as follows: "An ordinance authorizing and direct-
ing the City Commission to sell and convey to the Harvey Seeds post,.
Number 29, American Legion, the Department of Florida, at Miami, Flo-
rida, the property known and described as Lots two (2) and three (3)
of Bloc: forty-one (41) North, of the City of I,iami, according to
the Knowlton Plat of said City on rile in the office of the Clerk of
the Circuit Court, in and for Dade County, Florida, at and for the
sum of One Dollar (41.00) and for the further consideration that the
grantee construct and erect thereon a memorial home for the American
Legion as a memorial to the deceased veterans of the World War".
Section 2:
That the City Clerk shall open the registration books for
said election from nine o'clock: A. 11'. until four o'clock P. M. on
the 27th day of February, 1924, and each day thereafter, (Sundays
excepted), to and including the 3rd day of npril, 1924, in his of-
fice in the City Hall, on which last day such broke snail remain open
all day for the purpose of registering all persons wl.o are qualified
to register for such election.
Section 3:
The polling place of said election is hereby designated as
the City Hall, Miami, 21orida, and the following are he eby appoint-
ed and designated as inspectors: J. D. Godman, W. 4. Glenn and J.
Stewart Norwood, and W. 13. 400re as Clerk of the elGotion in the
City of 14ienli.
Section 4:
