READING W MINUTES OP MEETING OF MARCH 25TH The Clerk read the minutes of the meeting of March 25th, 1924, and there being no additions or corrections thereto the same were approved and accepted as written. APPRO.PRIATION .10R PUBLIC LIBRARY OF LIIAMI WOMAN'S CLUB The following written communication addressed to the City Oommission from Mrs. Lon Worth Jrow, President, Miami Woman's Club, was received and after being read was or- dered filed and copied upon the minutes of the meeting: The City Commissioners, Gentlemen: Miami, .01orida, April 1, 1924. We hereby request that the City Commissioners of the City of Miami appropriate the sum of 43,982. during the f isoal year July 1, 1924, to July 1, 1925, for the maintenance of a free public library. PETITION FOR ILIPROVEIONTS ON S. W. 17TH COURT • . . A written 17th Court eaid S. W. struetion duly made communication signed by J. W. Bennett and other property owners on S. W. was received. at this meeting. The petition requested the improvement of 17th Court between West Flagler Street and S. W. 4th Street by the oon- of paving, curbing and gutter and sidewalks. The petition was, on motion and seconded, referred to the Oity Manager. RATIFYING CONTRACT WITH J. J. QUINN FOR SEWERS The City Manager submitted the proposed contraot between the Uity of Miami and J. J. Quinn Company for the construction of sanitary sewers under Sanitary Sewer Improve- ment Districts 90, 91 and 92, together with bond furnished by the contractor. Af- ter an examination of the .contraot and bond and the same meeting with the approval of the Commission the following resolution was offered by Mr. Gilman: RESOLUTION NO. 1346. A RESOLUTIOU RATIFYIVG AND CONFIRMING THE EXECUTION OF A. CONTRACT BY THE CITY LLUIAGER FOR AND ON BEHALF CP THE CITY OF MIan, WITH JOHN J. WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 1334, adopted March 25th, 1924, the Com- mission authorized and directed t;-,e City Manager to enter into contract with John J.
