NO. 28, DISTRICTS SE-45 TO 490 BOTH INCLUM
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO ' 0..
TRACT FOR SUCH WORK; AND DIRECTING THE RETURN
0F CERTIFIED CHECKS AND BIDDERS' BONDS TO THE
UNSUCCESSFUL BIDDERS BY THE CITY CLERK.
WHEREAS, the Direotor of Public Servioe and the .0ity ;*Hager
pursuant to direotions, have submitted tabulations of bids reoei'v.
ed for the work under Sidewalk Contract No. 25, and
WHEREAS, it appears that the bid of Cook Construction Com
pany is the lovest and best bid received,
NOW, THE FORE, BA IT RESOLV D by the Commission of the City
of /demi:
1: That the proposal of Cook Construction Company for the
construction of sidewalks under Sidewalk Contract No. 25, Districts
45 to 49, both inclusive, as set forth in their bid, be, and the
st:me is hereby, accepted.
2: That the City I.ianager be, and he is hereby, authorized
and directed to enter into a contract with the said Cook Construc-
tion Company, and the contract entered into, together with bond
to be furnished by the cuntraotor, to be approved by the City At-
torney as to Lorin and execution, and that the City Manager sub-
mit both contract and bona to she City Co,,Imissieh ror approval.
3: lha t the City Clerk be and is hereby directed to return
to the unsucoessiul binders the certified checks rihich accompanied
their bids.
