RESOLUTION NO. 1138.
l RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF KNIGHT & CONES
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF PASSENGER WAITING ROOM AT CITY

WHEREAS, the Oity Manager was by resolution authoriael
and directed to publish notioe for bids for the oonstrwo—
tioh and ereotion of PASSENGER WAITING HOOK at the City Books,
and.
WHEREAS, the following bide were reoeived on the 4th
day of Deoember:
Knight & Lomas. . . . 44,566.00
Geo. Jahn. . . . . . 5,265.65
and
WHEREAS, it appears that Knight & Lomas have submitted
the lowest and beat bid,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the City
of Miami:
Section 1. That the bid of Knight & Lomas for the fur-
nishing of labor and materials and the oonetruotion and ereo-
tion of passenger Waiting Room at the City Looks, a000rding
to plane and specifications of H. Hastings Mundy, Arohiteot,
at and for the sum of $4, 568.00 be, and the same is hereby,
aooepted.
Section 2. That the said oontraotm'enter into contract
and bond with the Oity Manager, to be approved by the City
Attorney, for the construction of the said building and that
said oontraot be presented to the Commission for approval.
Section 3. That the Bid Bonds and Certified Checks of
the unsuooesafui bidders be forthwith returned by the City
Clark.
PASSED A.1D ADOPTED this 4th day of Deoember, A. D. 1923.
