1 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT CR 419, 021.78 TO PAT
THE JUDGMENT AWARDED BY THE JURTY TO THE OWNERS OF THE WNW
80 FEET OF THE SOUTH 100 FIST OF LOTS TEN AND ELEVEN OF
BLOCK SIXTEEN OF ROBBINS, GRAHAM & OHILLINGWORTH ADDITION
TO THE 0 ITY OF MIAMI, LOCATED ON THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF
NORTH MIAMI AVENUE AND FOURTEENTH STREET BE
MIAMI AV RTEEN TH ST .
WHEREAS, in the suit of the City of Miami for the oohdem-
nation of property described in the preamble to this resolution
the jury awarded the owners of the property as compensation
therefor, the sum of eighteen thousand dollars 418,000.00),
and for attorney's fees, the sum of one thousand dollars
($1,000.00), and the costs of the court, amounting to the sum
of twenty-one dollars and seventy-eight oents (21.78), and
WILMA' S, the City desires to pay the said judgment and
appropriate the said property for public purposes,
NOW, TH Ear.''ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the
City of Miami, that the sum of 419,021.78, be, Lind the same
is hereby appropriated from the fund for the purpose of open-
ing and widening of streets, for the payment of the said judg-
ment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance be,
and he is hereby, authorized to issue warrant for ja9, 021.78,
payable to the order of Ben Shepard, Clerk of the Circuit Court,
and deliver the same to A. J. Rose, City Attorney, for payment
into court of said amount, as required by law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of November, A. D. 1923.
