A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF LOr8 1, 2,
AND 3, BLOOX 40 SOUTH, CITY OF MIAMI, A000RDING TO
KNOWLTON MAP, MADE BY A. L. KNOWLTON, C. E., SE-
OOR3ED IN PLAT BOOK "B", AT PAGE 41 OF THE PUBLIC
RECORDS OF D DE COUNTY, FLORIDA, FOR THE SUM OF
$23,000.00 ON TERMS SET FORTH INTHj
WHEREAS, condemnation proceedings were instituted in the
0irouit Court of Dade County, for the condemnation of the fore-
going described property, and Belle G. Brickell, the owner of
said property, has offered to sell the came to the City of Mi-
ami for the sum of $23, 000.00, the City, paying the sum of 44600.
in oash, and;18,400.00 in deferred payments, payable in three
equal annual installments as follows:
1 note of '6,133.34 payable on or before 1 year after date;
1 note of 6,133.33 payable on or before 2 years after date;
1 note of *6,133.33 payable on or before 3 years after date,
with interest at the rate of eight per oent per annum, the in-
terest being payable semi-annually, and to exeoute her oon-
tract to convey to the City upon the payment of the eaid sum of
$4,600.00 in cash,
NOW, THiIPE?ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commission of the
City of Miami: Taut the said offer to sell the eaid property
to the said City of Miami, for said purchase price, and on said
terms, be, and the same is hereby, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of $4600.00 is hereby
appropriated from the fund for the acquisition and widening of
streets for the purpose of paying the said first installment of
44,600.00, and the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to
issue the City's warrant for said amount to the order of the
said Belle G. Brie4.611.

by the said City of Miami on its approval by the City Attorney.
